How To Monitor A RAZR Cell Phone

motorola razr spy software How To Monitor A RAZR Cell Phone

One thing that surprises me, is how many people still have a Motorola RAZR.  I think I must get at least 2-3 emails a day from people who want to know how to monitor a Motorola RAZR cell phone.  I know at one point, the Motorola RAZR was the #1 selling cell phone in the US, but it just surprises me  that so many people still use it.  This post is for all the people who want to know if its possible to monitor a Motorola RAZR.

If you want to monitor a Motorola RAZR cell phone, I have good news and bad news. Let’s start with the bad news first.

BAD NEWS

The bad news is that you cannot purchase cell monitoring that will work on a Motorola RAZR.

The only apps you can install on a RAZR are Java apps that must be turned on everytime you want to use them. There is no way to silently start a Java app without the user knowing, and more importantly keep it running in the background.  Smart phones such as an iPhone or BlackBerry dont have this problem, because a smart phone has an operating system that enables developers to create applications that can automatically start up when the phone is turned on, and also run silently in the background.  The best example is to think of your PC. When you start it up, there are numerous programs that also start up behind the scenes. You are not required to physical turn on each driver, program, etc.

In a nutshell, this is why monitoring software for the Motorola RAZR doesn’t exist. If Motorola releases a future version of the RAZR running Android or Symbian, then commercial spy software sold by companies such as Flexispy & Mobile Spy will work. Until that day arrives, you’ll have to look for another way to monitor a Motorola RAZR.

GOOD NEWS

Even though there is not a way to install monitoring software on a Motorola RAZR, you do have options if you want to read deleted text messages, or view deleted call logs.  What you need to do is purchase a SIM card spy tool.  The most popular SIM card spy tool is a product called Cell Phone Spy Elite, and is sold by Brick House Security.  The Cell Phone Spy Elite device is about the size of a standard USB drive and is advertised as #1 SIM Recovery Tool Trusted By Private Investigators ?For Deep Forensic Analysis Of SIM Cards and Smart Cards.

Here is an overview of how it works.

As you can see, its pretty easy. You just remove the SIM card from the Motorola RAZR, and place the SIM card into the SIM card reader.  Now you insert the SIM card reader into the USB port of a computer and you are able to read deleted text messages, call logs, and other information stored on both the SIM card and the RAZR’s memory card.

The price of Cell Phone Spy Elite is $199.95, but there is a $25 discount currently being offered on BrickHouse’s website.

Before you rush out to purchase Cell Phone Spy Elite, I do want to let you know that this product WILL NOT work any cell phones that do not have a SIM card, no phones running on the Verizon network, the iPhone,  or BlackBerry.

My bf purchased a LG Tritan from US Cellular. I found out that the OS is through Java. Is there spyware for this JavaOS? I thought Java and andriod where the same thing? Is there anything else I could use?

    Spyphone Guy Reply:

    Hi DD,

Unfortunately, Java and Android are not the same, so none of the spy apps will work. Most phones have Java support, but are running different OS platforms, just like a Mac and Windows PC can run Java apps or Flash apps. Android is the OS as Mac and Windows are.

    Hope this helps.

I would like to purchase a phone that my husband (droid) cannot put his mobile spy on to spy on me. Is the razor v3 the phone for me?

    hi there,

i have a motorola razr V3 phone and after talking to my phone carrier’s tech people…have been told and shown on my phone that text messages and recent calls are stored on to the internal memory of the phone, not the sim. Now i can transfer information that HAS NOT BEEN DELETED from internal memory to the sim card…but, basically, anything deleted can not be pulled up to put on to the sim card…therefore, the spy sim card reader wouldnt be able to pull up the deleted texts, phone numbers, etc…because it is all stored in the internal memory of the phone, itself….Is there anyway to access that internal memory in the phone…theres got to be a sort of hard drive in there somewhere, right? I know the razr V3 has a data cord that can be purchased as an accessory that I think has a USB end and plugs into the phones charger socket…but i dont think it will access deletions?? it looks like the spy stuff just wont work for this phone…just my luck.
