Looking Ahead In 2010 | More Android Spy Apps, BlackBerry Messenger Spy, Palm Spy Apps & More
By
HAPPY NEW YEAR! It’s time again for my predictions of what spy phone products we could see in 2010. Some of the products and spy phone features are definitely on the way, and others I’ve only heard “whispers” about from various sources, while some are just wild guesses on my part.
TOP 5 THINGS TO LOOK FOR IN 2010
1) MORE ANDROID SPY APPS

More Android spy software will hit the market in 2010. By the middle of this year, we’ll have at least 3-4 different spy phone vendors selling Android spy software. As the popularity of Android devices continue to increase, more spy phone vendors will rush out to create Android spy apps. I’ve already come across one new Android spy phone product that I’m currently reviewing, and more are on the way. Another thing causing a lot of buzz is the recent release of Google’s Nexus One phone. If Google puts some of their billions into a massive online marketing campaign, we could see an insane number of people using the Nexus One phone, which means a lot of people will be looking for Nexus One spy apps. This will be yet another incentive for more companies to create Android spy apps.
2) BLACKBERRY MESSENGER SPY SOFTWARE

A release date on this has not been confirmed by anyone yet, but I know several companies are looking into a way to spy on BlackBerry messenger conversations. As any BlackBerry addict knows, using BlackBerry messenger to chat with people is one of the most addicting features of a BlackBerry. Current BlackBerry spy phone software enables you to do just about anything, EXCEPT spy on BlackBerry messenger conversations. If spying on BlackBerry messenger conversations is found out to be technically possible, I’m predicting we’ll see this spy feature released this year.
3) PALM SPY APPS

Although I personally don’t think we’ll see any spy apps for Palm devices, the Palm Pre and other phones Palm is planning to release in 2010 could create enough users that might motivate a spy phone developer to create Palm spy phone software. A few people in the industry have mentioned it, but nothing has been confirmed. When I look at my web stats on how people find my blog, I do see a lot of ‘Palm Pre spy apps’ searches, which means people are definitely interested in spy software for Palm cell phones. However, I don’t think the market is big enough yet for the investment required to develop spy phone software for Palm devices.
4) PARENTS TRACKING THEIR CHILDREN.

As spy phone software becomes more mainstream, I feel this year we will start to see a lot more spy phone apps built exclusively for parents who want to monitor their kids cell phone use. Although existing spy phone apps do target concerned parents, the software is not really built exclusively for parents. The software is still hidden and there are not any features that are built for parents who want to protect their kids. Being alerted when your children go out of a “safe zone” (that you created via an online map) or possibly a feature where kids can silently trigger an alarm that secretly notifies their parents and police, are just a few of the features I feel parents would want. I understand that there are companies out there that target software to protect kids, but they don’t do a good enough job. Their pricing structure (most charge a monthly fee, which is a rip off), the way you sign up for their services, cell phones supported, features, etc. are just some of the problems with the existing companies. In 2010, things will change, and we should start to see a lot more companies enter this space.
5) BLUETOOTH SPY SOFTWARE & OTHER SPY PHONE SCAMS

It’s no secret. I’m not a fan of bluetooth spy software. If the it worked as advertised, then I think it would be a fantastic product. Who wouldn’t want a bluetooth spy phone product that had no range limitation, didn’t require that you “pair” the devices, and is used by the CIA and FBI. Unfortunately, the software doesn’t work, but one thing it does do well is piss off a lot of people who purchase it and find out that not only does it not work as advertised, but they can’t get their money back. I know that this year we’ll continue to see people purchase this type of software, and that means we’ll continue to see even more people who start to believe the entire spy phone industry is a scam, and that none of the products work. Every software will have problems, but in more than 90% of the cases, spy phone software sold by the industry leaders work as advertised, unlike the bluetooth spy software that simply does not work ad advertised on their websites. Another problem we’ll see in 2010, is the increased amount of spy phone scams. Last year we saw the MMS Phone Interceptor, and this year I’m sure we’ll see a few more.
That’s about it for now. Once I get more information on any of the above new spy phone software products, I’ll write more detailed reviews.
Once again, Happy New Year!

Hi Missy,
Here is a link for you. http://www.mediafire.com/?wzmmqmjnm21
I noticed a lot of people in various Android forums are asking about this. Not just for Mobile Spy, but for a variety of reasons.
Hope this helps!

Personnally i used Flexispy for the last two months and let met tell you that this is the best cell phone spying software on the market. Yes it is a little bit more expensive than the other on the market but with so much functionnalities like GPS tracking, secretly room monitoring and even call interceptor features.

Hopefully this is a place where a neophyte (on both cell phones AND software)can get some spy phone direction! I just bought a Blackberry Curve 8530 and purchased MobileSpy to download to it. Problem is, I can’t seem to get the software installed correctly and their support desk takes forever to answer questions. After 6 or 7 attempts to install correctly, I’m discouraged. Even more infuriating, I did get it to record 3 phone calls over a period of about one hour. Then, nothing more! Worse yet, their answers are impossible to carry out as the options they tell you to use don’t exist. I really want a product that will log all text content and MobileSpy appears to be he only one that has that function and is compatable with the Curve 8530. I’d go to Flexispy, but they have advised me not to purchase their program until it has been tested on the Curve 8530. Any thoughts on how I might either get MobileSpy successfully installed on my phone or else another software supplier that does have what I need? Aidan

Hi Aidan,
Were you able to get this resolved? I know Mobile Spy has increased their support staff, so hopefully you were able to get it resolved. If not, let me know and I’ll personally escalate it for you. You can reply here or email me at spyphoneguy@gmail.com.
I do know that if you are using a BB that uses OS v5.0, it does cause some “issues” so I would first find out if you are using the latest version of Mobile Spy.

I have just purchased a new BB 8530 from sprint. I have not purchased the spyware yet. I am torn between Flexispy or mobile spy. There seems to be no way to contact Flexispy via a link on their website to find out if they are capable of handling the new curve. After this post I am concerned with both programs. Do you know if either have made improvements in their software for the new curve? What would be your suggestion?
Thank You

Hi Carol,
Flexispy does not work with BlackBerry using OSv5.0. Mobile Spy does, but it’s still a bit unstable, so I would hold off until there is definite support for that OS.

Thanks, when you say “unstable” do you mean that it misses items or is hard to download. I have a slim window of opportunity to download the software, so if it something that may have a fix to it later, I am tempted to give it a try for even a small bit of information, at this point.

I want to get a program so that I may listen to conversations made to and from a Blackberry and have it activate my phone whenever the Blackberry is receiving or a number is dialed from that Blackberry. Does this type of technology exist yet or do I have to wait for this feature to be developed? I have purchased a couple of different bluetooth accessible programs which do not work at all. What can I do to get the feature I’m looking for?

Hello, just writing a quick update. I purchased the BB software and it has been more than unstable, to say the least. The GPS doesn’t work at all, which I had assumed prior to buying, so it was not a shock. The SMS and Call logs will work for an initial length of time and stop. I am pretty computer savvy,so I am exploring what the magic fix could be, so here is what I have found out. If you re-download the software, replace the existing, recall the #, it will update the days call logs and sms. Well that worked a few times, not the last time. So I am wondering if mobile spy has predetermined hours of service. I am still experimenting and will keep you informed. One last item, the help center for Mobile spy is non existent, I wrote via email 2 days ago with no response. I wrote about the flexispy not working and they responded immediately. I never did get that to work either.

Hi I bought mob spy it works some days and
some days it does not it’s v irregular, infact
after installing it took 10 days for it to work.
But the support is v good they kept on guiding
me.
How ever it’s tedious u need slot of time bec
the contact name is missing, so I end up
calling ppl who know me.
But if it works stably it’s the best and user
friendly.
I made a close friend buy the flexispy it sucks
firstly we can not understand half the things
it’s v difficult to use with all those commands
and it keeps on eating the targets battery
and the target got so fed up in three days
he went and bought a new phone.
If u ask me mobilespy is good and with new
update I am sure the irregular logs will be fixed
one more problem with flexi is u have to set
no of events so if u set to ten/hr it gives
10 random events and not all while mobile
spy gives all ,
and most important mobile spy eats less battery
Now I would like to know about stealth spy
it’s installation manual is given only after u
buy, so it could be complicated like flexi
and all those remote commands r just
silly who has time for such things we need
easy friendly spyware
