ANDROID Spy Software Released | Android Mobile Spy Now Available
By
Wow, the guys over at Mobile Spy have been really busy. Less than two weeks ago Mobile Spy for BlackBerry was released, and today they announced that their Android spy phone software is available for immediate purchase. With this release, Mobile Spy becomes the first spy phone vendor to support the fast growing Android OS.
How Does It Work?
As with most spy phone software, Mobile Spy’s Android spy software works by secretly recording activity that occurs on the Android device, and then secretly uploads the recorded events to your secure online account that can be accessed via any internet connected device that has a web browser. (See the diagram below for details.)

ANDROID Spy Phone Features?
Mobile Spy for Android has the following spy phone features:
- Runs In Total Stealth – No mentions of the Android spy software are shown inside the Android device.
- GPS Tracking – Mobile Spy secretly records GPS locations, so you can track the Android user.
- Secretly Read Text Messages – Mobile Spy’s Android spy secretly records the entire contents of all SMS text messages (both incoming & outgoing), along with the number that is associated with the message stored in the Android’s address book. This Android spy feature enables you to read all text messages even if they are deleted immediately after being read.
- Call Records – With this Android spy phone feature, all inbound and outbound call information is recorded. Additional details include call duration and the name of the number that is associated in the Android’s address book.
Compatible Android Devices?
According to Mobile Spy’s Android press release, Mobile Spy is compatible on all Android devices, including the new My Touch 3G by T-Mobile and the hot new Motorola Droid.
How Much & Where To Buy?
Mobile Spy’s Android spy software is priced at $99.97 for an annual license. (Includes a FREE copy of Mobile Spy’s award winning PC spy software, Sniper Spy). You can also purchase a license for three months at $49.97 USD or six months at $69.97 USD.

Hi Anghel,
Just go to http://www.mobile-spy.net and do the following:
1) Verify that the phone you want to spy on is supported.. (iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Symbian, or Windows Mobile)
2) Place your order. (3 month, 6 month, or 12 month license. The 12 month license comes with a free subscription to their PC spy software.)
3) Follow the installation instructions.
Before you place your order, MAKE SURE your target phone is supported and that you will be able to get physical access to the phone. There is no way to remotely install the spy phone software.
If you have specific questions, send me an email at spyphoneguy@gmail.com

Hi,
In order to install any kind of spy software, you’ll need to get physical access to their cell phone. If you are not sure their type of phone, does that mean you do not have access to it? If you do, can you tell me if it’s a BlackBerry, iPhone, or??

Mobistealth Pro X works great, it has some limitations though
- Call recording works fine as long as the person on the phone is NOT using hands free, if the person does you do not hear the far end or half of the conversation. major short comings
- It does NOT record IMs, no one is doing SMS these days, not supporting IM/Yahoo!/Google Talk/etc is a MASSIVE shortage
- It does not support email as well.
-Surrounding recording requires SMS to be sent. Which is ultimately detectable, it should be ‘queable’ from the web interface
- Mobile Tracking works fine on GPS, miserable on CELL tower signal
I am not sure if remote update is supported in the current version but if this is not the case then you may need to ‘borrow’ the phone more often than you thought
I hope these issues will be addressed in future release, if you know if a software that does not have these limitations please let me know (post here)
Cheers!

Here are more test results
-Surround recording reveals in fact the sms source, not hidden or anything, you get confirmation of starting recording via sms back. This is a very awkward setup and should be done over the G3
-Surround recording stops if the person dial or receives a call!! pretty useless really if the person you are monitoring use the phone a lot (duh, is not that why you are monitoring them?!)
-Support claims to be 24×7, however there is no online forum, no # to call, no online chat, etc. you need to work async with them, if they reply
All in All, I think it is a good concept that leaves much to be desired. I feel they took the technologies and techniques used for old GSM/CDMA G2 phones and applied them to the G3 family. Despite the fact there is a major ‘workflow’ difference of how users use the two phone families. I would rate this software as 2 out of 5 on functionality, 3 out of 5 on reporting and UI and 3 out of 5 on price (comparing the price to PC spy software that fall in the 100 – 200 range per license)
Thanks
