Looks like there is an email scam going around targeting people who are looking for spy phone software.
This scam was recently reported on Symantec’s blog in a post called ‘Spying Can Be Dangerous‘ and again in their August 2009, ‘State of Spam’ report. (You can download the full 10 page PDF report HERE)
The spy phone software being advertised is called the ‘MMS Phone Interceptor‘ and it promises all the standard spy phone features such as:
- GPS tracking
- Intercepting text messages
- Reading call history
- and REMOTE Installation
It’s the last feature that’s really getting people to bite. The email claims that their software has the ability to remotely install the spy phone software onto the target device by sending a special MMS message to a target phone. However, in order to do this, you are required to first install the so-called “unique MMS phone interceptor loader” on your phone and then execute it.
Once you execute the software program on your phone, the scammers will have access to all the data on YOUR phone.
If you get any email or read an advertisement about this product, do not buy it.
To read the entire email advertisement that is sent out, check out this post over on Spy Phone Forums.

Hi,
Wish I could help. The problem is I’ve never got the software to work, along with countless other people. I must get at least 2-3 emails a day from someone who has been ripped off by these bluetooth spy software companies.

About ClubMZ.com: I purchased the download & contacted them at the email address they gave me with the download if I had any questions. I did have questions, and after two weeks of waiting, with NO RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY, I have realized that I wasted my money and will now have to look for a company that will RESPOND TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. This product was of NO USE TO ME, as I have no idea how to use any of it and could not get any assistance whatsoever. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as we speak.

Hi JBJ,
ClubMZ.com sells the same software as Estealth, PhoneStealth and others. It’s that Bluetooth spy software that does not work as advertised. It’s too bad you got shafted with your purchase. Stick with products sold by Flexispy, Mobile Spy, or MobiStealth. At least all these products work.

Are there any other websites besides flexispy, mobile spy, or mobistealth that are affordable like less then 20 dollars. These prices are a pretty penny.
spybubble is a ripoff also.
