I came across this interesting product for parents who want to monitor their children’s cell phone. The product is called RADAR – My Mobile Watchdog.
RADAR, is similar to other spy phone software applications on the market today such as Flexispy & Mobile Spy, however the primary difference is that the child KNOWS they are being monitored. This means that the software application is not hidden which can be good or bad. Good in that nobody can use it for wrong reasons, and bad in that I’m not sure if a teen is going to let their parents put this on their phone. That’s why other cell phone monitoring apps such as Mobile Spy go into stealth mode after installation. It’s just hard to convince your kids that you want to monitor their cell phone use, even though it’s for their own protection.
Features include the following:
- ALERTS – Immediately alerts you if your child receives unapproved email, text messages or phone calls.
- Text Message & Call History Monitoring - Provides parents text message & call details (incoming & outgoing) and records them on the website where parents can review them at home and print reports for authorities.
- Online Scheduling For Parents – Schedule important appointment reminders (such as doctor or school appointments), create task lists and communicate about important issues, all from the My Mobile Watchdog website.

Seems like a GREAT product to me. I’m going to contact them and get more information. I’m curious to know what cell phones are supported and if they plan to offer features such as GPS tracking & call monitoring. Overall this product seems like a winner, and from what I read on their website and numerous news clips I watched, RADAR – My Mobile Watchdog seems like the #1 solution for parents who want to monitor their children’s cell phone.
