What if the blackberry you get a hold of is locked, and everytime this person leaves it alone, they make sure its locked..then how can you install the software?

What happens to the target phone if you use the PRO version and cause it to crash when trying to listen to a call? Does the software need to be reinstalled or does the phone just need to be reset (i.e. pull out the battery and restart)? Also, if the battery is removed and therefore the phone is reset, does the software need to be reinstalled or will it still function properly? Thanks!!!
